Amazing Photo Time!

Hope to make this a regular feature: posting an amazing photo I've seen recently.

I love long-exposure shots of waterfalls like this.

  1. Hey Mike! Would it be possible for you to host larger images? Like, background sized? Because that's a super cool exposure, and I like it very much.

Also, have you thought about HDR photography? I think I stumbled onto a blog about it the other day. Seems neat.

  2. I will look into it, certainly. I can certainly see the appeal.

As to HDR photography, it is definitely something I have tested out, and is something I will talk about in further articles.

  3. I like Michael Casspir's idea. I would love to have some great photographs possibly as a desktop. If I may suggest it, a lovely sunset/sunrise would be nice for the next one, taken by you would be a bonus.

  4. I have seen a waterfall like that before, any ideas where that is?

  5. Great job on your layout, by the way. A very clean presentation!

  6. Ah, gorgeous. I think they use a diffusion lens for that misty look on the water?
    unless I am mistaken.

  7. I don't know where this was taken unfortunately. I do know, however, that the way they created that misty look on the water is by using a long shutter speed, possibly 4-5 seconds or more, depending on whether or not they were using any filters. I will talk about this in subsequent articles.
